After a visit to Galway, Ireland and seeing various references to Pádraic Ó Conaire (1882–1928) and visiting his gravesite, I decided to do a little research and learn a little about this Irish writer. It turns out that, Pádraic Ó Conaire was a key figure in the Irish-language literary revival of the early 20th century, and for his utilization of the Irish language (Gaeilge) within his short stories.
